UA has a scheduled time of 7:50 from HNL-ORD and 8:30 ORD-HNL. The actual time of course depends on the prevailing winds during flight. Most flights HNL-ORD take about 7:30 in the air and at least 8 hours ORD-HNL. I've been on quite a few flights with strong headwinds which lasted at least 8:30 ORD-HNL.
