I got out to CDB several times. One visit I recall was that the FSS was leaking like a sieve because the wind and rain finally got to it. So we did a maintenance project that took care of most of it.

A couple years later we built new Government housing out there. This was a program we undertook at several locations (e.g., CDV; AKN) and it all begain when our regional director fell through the floor in one of the old Type 41 housing units at Cordova. The floor joists had rotted. Thankfully he was not injured. But he was pissed!
