Officially, new applications for the JPMR card are available only to J.P. Morgan Private Bank clients. I don't know what kind of flexibility there is beyond that official requirement, or if there is in fact a new "loophole."
I haven't seen many data points of non-JPMPB clients getting approved for the JPMR beyond the two approvals on that obscure blog, and I think one on this forum. I assume we'll be getting a lot more data points this week from the people that tried to take advantage of the apparent new loophole last week.
