To guarantee an early checkin either book a day rate room (which the Hilton offers) or book for the night before.
Another option would be the Yotel at LGW.
Not great for sleeping on the occasions I've used it in similar circumstances.Too hot and noisy.
The OP would be far better off heading into London and treating himself to a good breakfast before checking in.
