Unfortunately, every space is a possible retail space now. If it's not earning money it's losing money. Either we the consumer pay more for a service or it gets subsidised like this. A few angry posts on here is unlikely to change BA's mind on it. Boycott the lounge by walking up, seeing if its in there and then walking out explaining why you are leaving. Then that might get some action. It will also make the lounge less crowded for those that don't care either way about it!
