She has to clear Canada Customs at YVR. AC038 YVR-YYZ operates as a domestic flight. It's usually the same aircraft but it's not guarantee. Treat it as if she is flying PVG-YVR-YYZ. If you need help from concierge, just give them a call or drop them an email.
