I have a reservation on BA117 LHR-JFK 09/11/2016 in Premium Economy. It was booked through a travel company and having put the reference in my BA iPhone APP the booking is there, but unlike an identically booked flight in January 2017, the APP doesn't give me the option of checking seat availability and paying for a seat. I booked a window seat in January for £45. I tried Expert Flyer and it said "The airline is not displaying a seat map for this flight as it is under airport control".

Does anyone know what this message means? All I can think of is the flight may be oversold? If that's the case, what is likely to happen? Thank you.
