Earlier this year, my flight ICN-YVR was delayed due to late inbound; which was
previously delayed due to late inbound PVG-YVR. AC knew about these cascading delays
a good 24 hours before my departure, and had they informed me; I could have
changed to ICN-NRT/HND-YYZ. Instead they emailed me approx 4 hours before
my scheduled departure, when I was on the bus to Incheon.
I ended up overnighting in YVR due to missed connection following by mechanical
aircraft - could have been avoided with timely notification.
