In regards to chocolate item/s, I usually speak to one of the parents and ask them if they want me to remove them from the tray before we give them out... Then I give them to one of the parents in a bag so they can take them away with them or decide to give them later. 100% of the time it has been well received by the parents and they have appreciated the thought.
