Hello,
I don't fly AA all that often and its been years since I've flown via DFW.
Have an upcoming trip, SDF-DFW-NRT-BKK, and just realized my DFW connection is only 1 hr 14 minutes.
SDF-DFW is Op by Mesa on a CR9
DFW-NRT is AA 61 and on a 772
Looks like AA5768 from SDF-DFW has been "mostly" on-time the past month, but if we arrive 45 min or more late, I suspect it'll throw the connection off.
What are best re-route options to reach BKK if I don't make connection? I suspect SkyLink from B to D will be the quickest x-fer.
Since I have this message going, two other questions, unrelated to DFW, but would be happy if someone could answer:
1) How is connecting from AA to JL at NRT? I normally use T1 at NRT, been ages since I've set foot in T2. I presume it's easy peasy just like transfers in T1, but last time I used T2, I remember there being a tram involved.
2) How is AA 61 in MCE? This will be my first time on a 777 with 10 across. I understand the 772 has been re-furbed - does it have the same amenities/entertainment system as the 77W with WiFi, Live TV, etc? Who operates the WiFi on AA tpac flights / what is the cost / how is the service on DFW-NRT? I'm guessing it probably isn't GoGo as I have a couple international passes in my GoGo account, that would just be too easy
Finally, was unable to get an advance seat assignment on JL because of my fare class. JL told me I could online check-in via AA's website three days ahead to get my seat and AA's website would then take me to JL's website?? <scratches head> Not so sure what JL told me was correct.
Thanks,
SDF
