At 12am just get a taxi it will be a 20 min ride. Make sure you print the address in chinese as they will not know it by name and you will get lost.
The refurbished rooms are on 2 floors only. My understanding is you they only give them to guests who pay for them. I have always received an old suite. They are comfortable enough.
