I bought the tickets as one deal on Delta's website. I've seen some comments elsewhere saying that your luggage won't be sent directly to your destination if both connecting flights aren't operated by Delta.
If you purchased a single ticket (check that the ticket number starting in 006 is the same for both flights), you will be able to check your bags through to your final destination.
