Hello, flyer talk!
I am flying for the first time with delta to Mexico. The flights will be LAS to LAX operated by Delta - LAX to MMX operated by Aeromexico. The return flights will be MMMX-SLC-LAS operated by Delta.

My question is will I have to claim my baggage at LAX and check it in again with Aeromexico or will it be arrive in Mexico with me? I will only have 2 hours at LAX to get off of one plane and board the Aeromexico flight to Mexico.

I bought the tickets as one deal on Delta's website. I've seen some comments elsewhere saying that your luggage won't be sent directly to your destination if both connecting flights aren't operated by Delta.
