Also, with small populations only a fraction of whom travel, granting visa-free access isn't exactly a huge concession on the part of the Chinese. There's not much downside risk of marauding Fijians or Grenadians, etc. or financial loss there from thousands of visa fees foregone.
it's interesting to see these small island national with VISA free access. It was a small Island that is having a big impact on China-Japan relations. Thanks for the info, seems yes for investment. I am a bit surprised a few years ago with anti Japanese riots I saw that it did not change (VISA free), but still wonder if Americans will get this, not so much for investment but for tourist industry. In Taiwan (and in Japan) has expanded VISA free travel to increase tourist numbers.
