This is one of my favourite Starwood hotels .I have stayed here many times, including for my wedding.
The location is fantastic. You can walk to Stanley Park, or to downtown via the seawall.
I have always been upgraded to a beautiful room with a view of the harbour and mountains. On numerous occasions I have been upgraded to a suite if travelling with my children.
The Platinum breakfast is a huge buffet with made to order eggs, waffles, pancakes, BC smoked salmon and anything you could ever want. The restaurant staff are really friendly and efficient.
The only negative is that check in is always very slow, which is somewhat annoying when arriving after a long flight.
