N730MH - I didn't pay anything for this cruise. I was the guest of my travel agent, as his wife had to stay home with the baby.
The price of the top suite (Regent Suite) is a lot. I just went on the website and saw a 10 night cruise (Med) in April 2017 for $50,000 per passenger. The fare includes R/T biz class air, 1 night pre cruise in hotel.
As to my flying in Economy Plus, I could have spent the points for business class, but I didn't feel right doing that while leaving my wife home. When I went with my wife on our cruise the following week, we both flew in biz.

Wow, wow! What a great trip reports!!! You spent $8,000 on cruise? How you didn't find a cheaper price? I knows you fly on UA and you flew on 767-400ER aircraft. You went to BCN. You should upgrade into J class next time. You still have earned the miles. They will automatically you. If you ask your ticket agent that you want to fly in Business Class. Are you allowed to taking a pictures inside the aircraft?
