I was just curious if any know why it is like this? As a Japanese-American I find this interesting (Seems China-USA government relations are better than China-Japan) that China would grant this to Japan passport holders but not others (only a very can enter China visa free). I just thought of this with new US$30 fare between PVG- KIX/HND (Peach Air), I asked some people to come to Shanghai, my Japanese friends no problem American friends/co workers need get a VISA (if they do not have one) so I thought why it was like this and do not know, but maybe one does know!
