I cannot see an AA fare that is around that price. I would suggest phoning and checking what the fare basis is before continuing
It may be that there is a Y fare offered, but would not be surprised if there is an error in the email details. Better than finding out later that there is another $350 each way to pay to upgrade - I would also look at the price of a business class ticket - there seem to be some cheap business and 1st fares from ORD-PEK
ORD-PEK business (I) class at $2576 inc tax . This , with a cheap ticket NYC-ORD, might be better value using 30,000 miles to get to business class even if that is a Y fare
