Price ∆ for Flight Pass vs. Individual Tickets?
There have been several discussions today about high-Flex vs. low-Flex, flight pass vs. individual tickets, and I've been curious to see the breakdown.
I love to play with numbers, but I found a few things surprising here:
1. AC will happily fly you YVR-LHR in Tango for the same or less than YVR-YYZ.
2. FP seems calibrated to be consistently ever-so-slightly-better than Flex on all routings, but much worse than Tango unless you're booking last-minute.
3. Flex vs. Tango is a simple comparison, but other than eUp cost and priority, are there any advantages to low-Flex vs. high-Flex?
