Called the recon line today, and the lady was helpful - went through a few questions, and asked me if I was OK reshuffling some of my credit lines. I said yes, pointed to two cards I hold (Sapphire and Marriott) and that she could move all she wanted.

Then I was on hold again, and she came back saying she'd put in the notes for credit reshuffle and it had to go through a secondary review or whatever and I will know in a week or so.

What does that mean? Does it make sense to call again and talk to someone else in a day or so?

I have Chase Mileage Plus Club, a downgraded Mileageplus, Marriott and Sapphire and I'm happy to close most of them.
