Baggage Services' job is not to provide baggage storage to cheapskates who won't pay for baggage storage.

People who behave like the OP is proposing just divert the team's attention from tracing baggage of passengers who are genuinely suffering from delayed bags.

I do work in baggage services among other areas. If the OP tried to pull this on my team we would charge him a hefty storage fee.

But Supervisors in many GHAs may not have authority to do that so might choose to irritate the pax!

This behaviour OP is proposing is not proper and should not be encouraged!
