I would 100% agree with that, seems adding stress for no reason. Any number of things could happen unexpectedly, ie a large party of say 15-20 pax arriving just before you at the check-in desks and then ahead at security. Sods law would then say some of that group will be infrequent flyers and faff about at check-in, ie have overweight bags to re-pack, start arguing with the agent to try and change their seats when they have only bought HBO fares...we have all been there with pax like that ahead of us

I really don't see the point (and on a Sunday too) of saving 15-20 minutes and cutting things to the wire like that. So my advice would be 45-50 minutes minimum. Personally I would arrive an hour before and just take things very easy @:-)
