My annual fee on the PRG posted 8/17. I have no intentions of keeping it since I got the CSR and have many other Amex accounts.

AF was due 9/1. I used the Sam's Club offer on 8/25 (posted 8/26). Normally offers redeem instantaneously, but this one has not yet. Verified via SM that the purchase qualified and told to wait 7-10 days.

Today, the Royal Caribbean offer popped up in my PRG account (not any of the other accounts). I have a cruise booked and this is perfect timing.

If I pay for the cruise today, hopefully the offer will redeem quickly.

If I pay balance in full and cancel on 9/17, is it possible for Amex to claw back that offer? Has anyone heard of that happening?

Ugh, I wish they still prorated! Appreciate help...I tried to search for this but couldn't find it.
