But the A350's fuel burn probably allows it to have a similar CASM to AC's 77W which is why it's on the route. And luckily for us 3*+ airlines cannot seriously consider 10-abreast A350s to be an option. That would be as unpopular as the few 8-abreast 767s/9-abreast A330s flying around.
The A350 is a consumers best friend vs 787/777. Hopefully CX deploys them to more North American destinations.

Atleast now I have the choice of JAL 787 via NRT or CX A350 via HKG on my way to PEK or PVG next summer. So I am somewhat happy.
