When Alaska dropped their BLI-LAS in the summer last year they jacked up the price for the BLI-SEA-LAS connection by $60, and it's never dropped.

Without the option of doing BLI-SEA-LAS one of the two ways, it's just cheaper for me to fly WS out of YVR instead, because sometimes I just want a later flight rather than the one (winter only) non-stop.
