Has anyone used Uber there ? Their website says they have service, but looking at a map of Dusseldorf in the Uber app - there don't seem to be any cars available.
Uber is banned in Germany, you might find few ubers drivinng around when you get there. But it can be very risky, as police can stop the car and give driver a fine even getting his license taking away then they ask you to get out and take a normal taxi. Would suggest using the taxi company (Rheni-taxi) in DUS.
