H and J are also connected. G is a dump, try to spend as little time there as possible. I still prefer it over the zoo that is AA @ MIA.
The whole place is a zoo so it can't be avoided. The TSA at Terminal J is a big circus which is worse than JFK terminal 8.
I still prefer the AA terminal because you at least have some sort of lounge access be it an Admirals Club or the AMEX Centurion lounge.
