We don't have a connecting ticket. We are flying AA (on FF tickets) to FRA and then spending time touring Switzerland before going to CDG for a cruise. Returning home from CDG on AA. We will purchase a round trip ticket GVA-CDG and throw away the return. Yes, there are two of us, which will allow is 88 pounds or 40kg total. The two bags weigh 120 pounds or 54kg - 14 kilos over. At this amount, I can't be left at the whim of someone and I'm not about to pay $280. I don't want confrontations- just want to go on our way. Maybe I should take Swiss, if they are still in business when we take this trip. Does AF have their own people in GVA or does a handling agent take care of passengers?
