There is a long thread here about those of us who check DL itineraries every Saturday as that is the most likely day one discovers changes to aircraft and schedules. I usually get my original seat back by the end of the day but have had FC and J seats on hold for hours. I remember losing 2B on domestic FC, but do not have a clear memory about international flights.
