The one issue is the 5000 km restriction. Also Amritsar airport probably won't be happy about this. Finally there are bilateral restrictions that seem to be preventing other airlines like Turkish and Emirates from adding more India flights. India should give up on the idea that it will ever be a hub for air India. It's not mostly served by middle eastern airlines because of their own actions and it's too late to stem the tide.
