One drink was offered with the meal, there was no drinks service beforehand. There were 18 people in C together with two crew, the purser plus one.

I guess these days with all the cuts going on at BA when something you expect doesn't happen you just assume it has been cut.

Once lunch was cleared away there was still almost two hours of flying time left - the pilot said at the start that the flying time would be long due to winds that day so there was plenty of time for a bar run before the meal service.

I think we must have had one of those crews who just do the many good people who work at BA no favours at all.
