2) The OP did not pout. The OP got SLAPPED! Unless someone, either, tries to open an exit door inflight, or storms the cockpit, one should NOT expect to be physically touched by a FA.
No Dave, you're WRONG!
Only the FA knows the inventory of snacks available to all passengers in C+ and can therefore make a judgement call in an effort to serve everyone in C+ when a rude passenger acts like he/she hasn't eaten in weeks and is feeding at the trough.
The childish OP is over-reacting by overstating that he was slapped. The FA may have lightly touched his hand while saying something along the lines of, "Sorry, only two please." The upset OP, pouting and sulking, then fabricated a far-fetched story of being physically abused by an FA on an aircraft "older than dirt."
Not only is your opinion disrespectful to the frontline worker doing his/her best to serve 150+ passengers with limited catered items in a cramped environment at 35,000 feet, but yours and the OP's attitude that you should be able to eat the whole basket, the heck with everyone else, and it's Delta's fault is rude, entitled and immature.
