As flights are getting more crowded, I wouldn't even think of trying to carry on a 22". On overseas flights, generally not allowed on foreign carriers. My 22" Travelpro is so old and battered that I don't trust the zippers any more. I bought a Delsey 24" that I now use and check all the time. I carry on as little as possible. I'm tired of shlepping!
