What I'm getting is not a speed issue as much as it is a working/non-working issue. Either the site will respond really fast, or it will not respond within a 60-second period (at which my browser times out). I suspect it all has to do with the load-balancing and other issues Randy has mentioned (see the "An apology" announcement at the top of any forum). It timed out every time I tried to get in last night, leading me to think the site was taken offline at that point. (I don't think it was.)

Anyway, the point is that although some people are now reporting fast speeds at times, there are lingering problems that the staff is aware of. They are busy trying to work the problems out. While it would be nice to have things perfect from the start, it would be rather difficult to simulate what several hundred simultaneous users do to the system without allowing us to try it. Plus, you would have had zero FT for an extra week.
