mainly because the statement computer doesn't know when you bought the ticket, only when you traveled and in what booking class. The q-point accruals will automatically have switched when the swap in the hierarchy occurred. Hence, a May 10th journey in Q would be worth 50% q-pts if bought after the switch, but should be 100% if bought before. My money is on the computer using a blanket crediting rate of 50% for Q and 100% for L, post 4/3/04...
