If the EZE ticket agents are able to tag your bags to MIA and onward to MAD, it should not be a problem. If the length of the layover (i.e. time before the MAD flight departs) prevents them from checking your bags all the way the previous night at EZE, just collect them at MIA, clear Customs, walk upstairs, and re-check them at the main ticket counter.

Then, my suggestion: take the MIA Mover (like a monorail) to the bus center and hop on bus 150, the Airport Express to South Beach! Enjoy the day!
