I'd definitely have said something (politely) if crew members were being too noisy, and they tend to comply very quickly. Some just don't seem to think carefully about what they are doing.
TBH, we were very low maintenance. We just wanted water and to sleep. This was the flight where we didn't get escorted to the seat, no amenity pack or PJs before take off and it took 30 mins to get a bottle of water.
