Wrong dates on passport stamps can get people into some kinds of problems, passing as they may be if having other evidence that indicates the likelihood of there being an error with the passport stamp date. The problems aren't necessarily that of being re-admissible into the country of citizenship.

It helps to solve this mystery of "Why are they doing this to me I don't understand it at all I guess they are treating me poorly because of my skin color"
A file note entry -- even one predicated upon a lie/inaccurate statement peddled by DHS/CBP employees -- about a physically dangerous passenger -- could result in some kind of special reception on visits. That said, if the passenger were violent toward CBP employees, then the question is "what happened to prosecution for assault upon a federal law enforcement officer?". In the absence of such prosecution, the passenger should be able to use that against any such claim by CBP.

If the port director and congressional intervention don't work, then a lawyer's intervention may be needed to get a correction of approach by CBP.
