so you carefully pack your fragile item to the best of your abllity, and then the TSA (or equivalent in other other countries that the item passes through) decides to open up the box after x-raying it and seeing a big electronic item. Will they repack it with the same care?
i found the answer to be yes. they're pretty easy to re-pack and even if it needs to be inspected they won't even take it out (they can see everything on the scan)

i also put t-shirts/towels/cloths on the area above the front screen for extra padding

some of yall being a bit too paranoid here, if it can make it from a factory in china on thru a fwding company thru a freight company thru walmart distribution thru the people bashing them off the truck at store then it absolutely can make it on an airline. i'm 5/5 with only the shirts and cloths as precaution
