Question reading email from web - how to speed up

Even using my local ISP's spam filters, I get several hundred junk email a day. One of two of those is important mail, so I don't want to make the filters more restrictive.

When I am not at home, I read my mail from the web, either straight from my ISP or using mail2web.com.

Even with a fast connection, the pages load slowly and I spend 10 minutes or so just deleting the junk before getting to read/reply.

Has anyone a better method of managing this? Are there web mail reading services that set up filters too?

My major mail comes to me at my own domain. I do use a Yahoo account for messages that are not time sensitive but that too isn't a very quick way to process a lot of email.
