BTW, I try to never fly through PHL when bringing back wine due to a near miss a few years ago thanks to the PHL baggage handlers. I was traveling from South Africa with a case of wine with a routing of CPT-LHR-PHL-DCA. When I picked up the case box at PHL to go through customs, the box was in great shape and no duty charged. When the box came out at DCA, however, it was soaking wet with the bottom about to fall out. Baggage folks at pmUS said they owed nothing because it was alcohol. I thought a bottle had broken, but it turned out that the PHL baggage handlers had put the box down in a puddle of water (it was raining that day in Philly) which had soaked through the box. It was a miracle I didn't lose a single bottle!
