I understand that in order for a US passport holder to visit Tibet or Bhutan, one has to have a tourist visa and be on an official tour. However, everywhere I look, these tours are all too long (for me). Does anyone know if it is possible to visit either Tibet or Bhutan for 3-4 days instead of the average 7+ days?
