Check In Check-in was at the level of efficiency and professionalism you would expect from a leading five star hotel. Although I wasn't offered a choice of amenity (I later received a bottle of wine and, somewhat oddly, six apricots) I was asked if I required a late check-out. The Diamond breakfast amenity was also clearly explained. I was then escorted to my room by the same agent who checked me in. Room There were two medium-sized windows with shades rather than curtains (drapes) which did let in a bit of light, unfortunately.I booked the entry level park king and received an upgrade to the best available room (below a suite), a park king deluxe. The room was large. A beautiful king size bed, firm and very comfortable was obviously the centrepiece, as well as a large desk, TV, coffee table, refrigerator and two-seater lounge-thingy.  Bathroom The closest was in the bathroom but wasn't behind a door; it was open to the rest of the bath area.Amenities were Laura Tornato (the same as the Park Hyatt Dubai) and plentiful. The bathroom was massive. the walk-in shower with rain head and separate arm would comfortable fit three people. There was a large separate tub, not one of those tubs (not where you have to bring your knees to your chest to fit into) and deep. The vanity was also large.  Service I do find EUR9 to launder a pair of underwear extortionate, however. As you would expect, service was top-notch. The interaction with staff was always profesional and generally with an eagerness to assist. Dining As a Diamond the buffet was complimentary and I could also select one item from the a la carte menu. The selected items were generally small but very tasty. There is a fairly extensive selection of cheeses and some meats which I assume is very Italian.I only partook in breakfast, which is served in what is essentially a sitting area or room directly off the lobby. Like other top level Parks (eg. Paris, Dubai) the buffet is by no means extensive but the quality is very high.  Location On the taxi ride to the hotel I passed through what I assume is the newer area of Milan which is vastly different from the area the Park Hyatt is in. If I was staying in that area I would have been very disappointed (depressed even). The hotel's location is amongst some great older buildings and really feels 'Milanish;. Location is first rate, just two or three hundred metres from the Duomo (cathedral) and a couple of minutes walk from extensive shopping. Concierge I utilised the concierge service for assistance with planning a trip to Lake Como and was not disappointed. I purchased a train ticket as well as a bus ticket with a tour company to a clothing factory outlet directly from them. This, too me, is part of true five star: a hotel taking the queuing or uncertainty and confusion out of finding tours and tickets out of the equation and providing it directly to you. The tickets were simply billed to my room, without surcharge. Overall I can't remember the cost of the taxi to the hotel but an Uber back cost me EUR33 (after being adjusted from EUR44 when the driver started the meter before I'd even set eyes on him, let alone started the journey).I would very happily return to this hotel and really give it top marks. It was a wonderful stay.
Old outdated rooms with no light at all? this hotel needs some renewal. spa section crap and room so boring and slight old.

Nahh mandarin oriental is the one.
