Saw something strange that I was curious about. Using BA's search engine I see lots of award on Cathay's AKL-HKG flight in June to July next year BUT there is nothing for July 1st to 3rd (Saturday to Monday). Plenty right before and after and lots along other Sat-Mon time segments.

There does seem to be a public holiday in HKG on July 1 but nothing all that big. Nothing on the NZ that I know of.

Any ideas as to why there are no award seats at that time? Really curious as that's the time I need and it is a gap.
