Flying Blue Platinum vs. Gold
Dear all,
based on my current planning I will be flying around 50 segments this year. This means that I am only 10 segments or 5 return flights short of getting Platinum.
I have been FB Gold for several years and travel nearly exclusively on Air France equipment, mostly within Europe (say 75% Europe and 25% abroad).
My question: Is it worth to make the effort to become Platinum by making the extra trips? Based on the webpage the difference between Platinum and Gold seems minor but probably there are other things to consider.
Note that this year has been exceptional for me in terms of travel. It seems not likely that I will be able to renew Platinum in the following years -- at least not regularly.
