True, but others have been approved. If you have had the Everyday for a long while I would apply for Everyday Preferred and negotiate if required.

The pattern has been that people got rejected when they tried to apply for the ED and EDP "too close" together in time. Those who waited a long time (say, a year) never reported problems getting both. (And, no, we don't know exactly how long is long enough.)
Thanks both. I'm reluctant to risk a hard inquiry on even the possibility of rejection, but I opened my ED over a year ago so I'll give it some thought.
