I've had the opposite occur on the beta site - it doesn't delete the promo code after quotes OR purchase.

Played for a while, getting various quotes on various versions of a trip, finally booked using the promo, then went to go book a completely different trip several days later and it's still there (and works). Heck, still there today, because if it still works, why on earth would I delete it!? (Just 10% off any fare code, which of course wasn't really 10%, but worked on code shares as well, so I'll just be leaving it there until it's dead!)
