I did the simulator with my brother and father. It was the experience of a lifetime for them. Neither had any experience but the retired pilot guided them through several landings and takeoffs. I sat in the back filming it (and laughing). It is a pretty realistic experience.
The simulator experience is for 1-4 people. I would say it is best done with 2. That way you get enough time in the seat to get in some flying time.
