Each aircraft must have one auto land every 30 days or the aircraft can't conduct a low vis approach.
I don't think that's the case on all types under all authorities. Certainly isn't the case on any types I've flown in BA. I cannot actually recall the last time I did an autoland on the aircraft, 2-3 years ago at least, but that's partly due to less exposure to European mornings on longhaul.
