If so, it's not even worth a phone call.
The second leg is on a separate ticket hence the need to have a note. This is a regular transit as it is advertised as a flight pair. I think I will ask on board if anyone else is connecting as ticketed as they'll be waited for
I've had this help me on a number of occasions in the past which is why I did asked for it.
My work often means that I am having to readjust at a late stage where in the ME I need to be on a given day once into the region.
Adding the leg to the original ticket was absolutely not allowed - apparently.....
Here's another great example from this week and last month;
I tried to 'manage my booking' online and wanted to change the flight as it seems to allow and is allowed in my fare code for a small penalty.
Alternate flight was listed at £1550, so I thought hang on and exited my booking and tried as though buying a new ticket and it also showed £1550
So how am I changing my ticket in this process ??? I went through all the way as if to pay and it asked for the same amount
Last month I had to change a colleague's ticket by two days on his return leg.
System online asked for $6400 as did the call center staff (I tried three different people) which was ridiculous considering the original return was $4800 and allowed changes for approx $300 and the same fare class was available.
Walked into an Etihad center in AUH, waited two hours as despite 20+ desks only one was open. Asked for exactly the same change and paid $300 and walked out, same fare class again....
